Hi, I’m Darby; a Graphic Designer with over 5 years of experience based in Birmingham.

I create bold work for a variety of outputs, from nationwide charity campaigns to brand identities for small businesses.

My design journey began back in 2017 at Birmingham City University. Since graduating with a degree in Visual Communication, I’ve gained industry experience through both in-house and agency roles, where I’ve created work for brands including: Amtico, Braun, Macmillan and Whitworths.

To date, I've been featured in The Self Love Club Exhibition for The PMDD Project, Life on Venus Magazine and xChange Festival 2019.

My Values

OUR PLANET

Reusable makeup pads, second-hand clothing, and eating vegan (99% of the time) - these are just some of the ways I'm trying to do right by the planet. I believe design has the power to create positive change in the world, which is why I am passionate about using my skills to support those that share this vision.

CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

The design industry and the world we live in is constantly changing - meaning there's always something new to learn. My commitment to lifelong learning allows me to adapt to new challenges and ensures every project is completed to the best of my ability.

SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESSES

As a freelance designer, I understand the unique challenges small businesses face. I'm passionate about supporting entrepreneurs with design solutions that enhance their brand identity and market presence, helping them to compete with larger companies. I also offer payment plans, making good design more accessible.

SUPPORTING CHARITIES

Whether it's designing for them, volunteering or donating - I LOVE to help charities where I can. I strive to make a difference beyond just the realm of design and am currently giving monthly donations to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary and Guide Dogs UK.
